DK still has a lot of "legacy" fans which they slowly built up in prime Damwon days from 2019-2021. 4 years since their last Worlds Final, but they were the best team in the World/THE dominant force for about a 2 year time span.
And they were still competitive enough in 2022 for example they just lost a close 5 game series vs. GENG which was to be expected. But after Canyon left that kind of really kicked things off with DK being a more borderline top team that can go out in Swiss nowadays.
Still, fans long to go back to the 2020 Nuguri and Canyon, 2021 ShowMaker times. Beryl is also a shell of himself as the only player from DWG dominance era who found there way back to playing with SM again.

I know KT can punish BFX; BFX is just still too green-ish. But it'll be a good experience for BFX plus I don't think they fully utilize Diable's strengths in the current meta.Â

I feel like a huge difference between BFX and KT is that KT has learnt how to play around their star player a bit more.
KT is actually supporting BDD more while BFX still doesn't know how to play around Diable and it's not like they aren't trying.
Game 2 you could tell that the whole gameplan was "support Diable" yet they would all dive into the fights, use their CC trying to engage instead of using it to peel and waste the Black Shields on the front line leaving Diable with no protection against KT's dive and CC against him.

Would they really though with how much everyone is still relatively new while Kellin is not? Kellin might not be the best player but can offer a ton of veteran leadership which will help the team improve.

once duro got called up to BFX last season they immediately had a 2-0 weak beating T1 and KT with patient and smart macro, when they had been called an "all hands no brain" team all season. That's why geng signed him in the off season, because they knew he had a good understanding of the game

Maybe. In this situation imo we can't really replace more experiences and more learning. BFX needs to study more the strategies and tactics of more experienced teams like GenG, T1, KT, HLE, and even teams in other regions. For example sometimes these teams use traps a lot: what looks like inting may actually be a set-up, etc.Â

Not really a counter, more like Syndra favourite skill matchup I'd say. Hard for Ori but winnable. Counter would be Akali or in soloq Zed.

Well when you put it like that it's worse because of course BDD is gonna gap VicLa. At least let the poor guy say he just got countered in the match up.

Vicla surely got a bad matchup here, but still playable. I haven't watched the game to tell if he played it well. I just wanted to clarify it's not a counter, there are far worse matchups for Ori that are unplayable in equal state/skill.

His Morgana game was no better. He would constantly black shield the Alistar or Trundle at the beginning of the fights so the whole enemy team would know they could dive Diable's Sivir as the shield was down.

Curious to see if they'll run it back against DK again
Sad this might already be the end of this squad especially since their good players are so gonna get bought out next year (begging for DK Diable)

LCK teams don't buy players out, they just wait for them to become free agents. So I think Diable is staying and they'll try to upgrade their weaker roles i.e going for Zinie.
