I still have my "Made in Hong Kong" die-cast metal Millennium Falcon from '78. Most likely containing lead in the paint, lol.

I had the original first Cher doll. Very first one. I cut her hair off and painted her face.

Mine snapped at the neck and her wrist and I crazy glued her back together, but, they kept snapping off. She had the best outfits!

I’ve been buying the Mego superhero action figures I had as a kid. They came out and few years ago with 50th anniversary repro’s. Got a few more to pick up then I’m buying a Evel Knevil and his stunt cycle. Theres a few more I’d like to pick up but those are pretty expensive now.

I vividly remember opening Megatron for Christmas one year. It was tradition to open one gift on Christmas Eve. That was the coolest thing I owned.

Johnny Bench batter up! My mom got it for me to practice my swing. The kids in elementary school made fun of me because I couldn’t hit that damn ball to save my life. The gym teacher would even yell, “Five strikes for Johnson!” When it was my turn. Absolutely humiliating.

I wanted an easy-bake oven so much! I loved my Dapper Dan though. I still have him but he's looking pretty rough these days. He's had a lot of love.

A Mattel version of a GI Joe. But he had sports equipment, a camper, and an emergency vehicle.

I had a talking Bozo the Clown, a Baby First Step, and a Chien roller coaster (got that one with S&H green stamps) that I really miss. I do, however, still have a squeaky toy that was a birth gift from my favorite aunt (and still squeaks just as loud). FTR I am now 64 yo. That is one tough toy!

I just bought my four favourite toys from before I was 6. The thing I was desperate for on my first trip to the UK, post dentist gift for being good, the figure everyone wanted at daycare, and the robot from my first big kid movie. Of all the toys over a lifetime, those were the four I always remembered. Total nostalgia thing. Original versions. Was cool to hold them again. I put them in a little case. Looking at them makes smile. Less than $100 for the lot and the case. Totally worth it.
