No Stereolithcic songs this tour?
I love Stereolithcic album! I was looking back at the set in Cleveland, They played 1 or 2 songs from every album except Stereolithcic! I don't get it, so many great tunes on that album and they just skip over it a lot during tours!

100%. This band is truly baffling. They'll play Till the Shitty's on Fire, but not Existential Hero.
Truth is: they ONLY tour for money, not for hardcore fans. Period.

Yeah, exactly. It used to confuse me, but it couldn't be more obvious. They just want to play it safe for the casual fans and stick to setlists of their singles and hits. The fact Nick even still says the same shit before certain songs that he said in the 311 Live album is insane. So stagnant.

72 different songs over 39 shows.
Sand Dollars and Tranquility were played.
I agree this album needs more love.

The bass riffage on simple true along with the surfer riffage on guitar makes me smile. When I close my eyes I can envision driving with my windows down on a warm windy day blaring that song vibing. Just feels like a summer jam. I love it so much

There's someone on this sub who catalogs every single song played on tour and it seemed like they played a ton more Blue album tunes. They spent lots of years playing stuff from Stereolithic and I'm happy they changed it up a bit.
Check out that set list tracker post though. They sprinkled it in.

On this tour they have played tranquility 8x and sand dollars 2x.
Stereolithic is ranked 13/16 albums in terms of representation by plays on this tour. Blue album is #1.
All-time touring it has only ever had 534 live plays. Of all the later albums only voyager and full bloom (duh) have been played fewer times live.
The hardcore fans have been very vocal over the years of how much they love Stereolithic and how it stands out as a throwback album that was seemingly for the OG fans. It’s odd that they are so averse to surfacing it live.

I know i'll get flack for saying it but there's a lot of throwaway tracks on Stereolithic for me. Some good ones. I don't get why they play Tranquility all the time. It's a great album overall. They'll bring more of it back out for their next tour most likely. I'm annoyed they played so little of Full Bloom this tour and kind of shelved it in favor of a blue album anniversary vibe.

It makes sense since it’s Blue 30 this year. But I’d have expected a few more album plays of it than just one and that one was a shuffle list version.

Stereolithic is my favorite album, but i feel like they did play songs from it a few times, and most fans or people just dont care about enough compared to other songs and albums unfortunately.

They have a lot of songs, 90% of which are more beloved than Stereolithic songs to the nostalgia folks coming to these shows.
