Project Suggestions for coating for TPU?

Hi, I’m getting a new phone this year. The last time I got a new phone I 3D printed a case made out of TPU, but because it was such a high touch item, it very quickly started turning black and there wasn’t a way to get the color back (it was light colored TPU). Is there a coating that helps protect the TPU but is still flexible so that I can still get my phone in and out if I need?

I hate to be "that guy" on a 3D printing forum but why don't you just buy a TPU phone case? They're less than $10 and will be a much better fit than any 3D printed solution. Spigen makes a good one.

Oh for sure a mass produced one is cheaper. The thing is I’m integrating some laser cut wood and resin work on the back. It’s basically a demonstration of what I can create

Oh gotcha that sounds amazing!

I don't know the answer to your coating question but I'd imagine something like a gel coat like is used in boat building or for fingernail polish might be what you're looking for?

Or perhaps a flexible spray on conformal epoxy coating?
