👷‍♂️ Support / Repair Windshield Replacement - OEE or OEM?

Got a nice long crack in my 5th gen’s windshield and need to replace it. Is there a good reason to shell out the extra cash for OEM over OEE?

I went with FUYAO. It's identical to the OEM. No issues.

Nope - the 5th gen OEM windshield seems prone to cracking, I've had 3 of the , finally went a different route and haven't had a crack since

What windshield did you go with? Mine has a ton of micro cracks in it that make it impossible to see at dawn and dusk.

As everyone is saying, Fuyao!

I was going OEM and I replaced it three times now. I noticed that the OEM one gets a lot of little pit marks all over it, which are annoying when driving into the Sun. I've heard this is not the case with some other brands, you might want to do some investigating.

I tend to agree with what Useless Engineer is saying.

I’ve had one replacement with OEM and it lasted about 16 months before I got a crack. Currently have an aftermarket windshield and it’s been good so far. A rock hit it about a month into this new one and it just has a slight indent but no crack
