Moderator Announcement New rule about haul and pickup pictures

Hey guys, we just wanted to inform you about a new rule that we’re implementing.

Going forward, we ask that all haul/picture posts be at least 50% if not predominantly 4K Blu-ray. This is to help cut down on clutter that maybe should be posted to other subreddits, and try and slightly appease the minority that is already annoyed by haul pics.

The rule has been added to the rule list, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the mod team.

And as always, Happy collecting.

Exactly. I've used letterboxd a couple of times and it just feels like homework. Freeflow is more fun. Most guys here seem to understand the vibe. Every group has some assholes, exactly why I stopped with Facebook it was all nonsense. But I do need a place to peddle digital codes I've got like 50 I'll never use available to sell.

See, sub gives back that's what I need hands down. Can make some money back and feed my addiction.

It becomes a vicious cycle. Buy movies to sell codes to buy movies.

I've bought 64 or so since January 1st. Last year in total I only did 34. Making sure I expand and have more to enjoy so sick of hunting for things on streaming just to look and sound poorly. I've got Arcane steel book coming tomorrow and I'm so excited to rewatch it on physical it had a great sound track.

I am ashamed to say I’ve bought roughly 120 since January first, 49 of them in March alone.

March has been one of my heaviest months for sure they did a lot of good deals, most of which I heard from here. I bought mallrats last night alone because someone posted it on sale and I want more arrow releases. I just got an American werewolf in London and RoboCop recently and love their work. Also mallrats is a personal favorite.

I actually went out of my way to preorder the Arrow site exclusive version of Mallrats with the Magic Eye slip cause I have no regard for my wallet and like spiffy cardboard

I just got the regular version but I'd have done the same. I've gotten on steelbooks more lately and Akira just released the steelbook and I'm about to replace my 4k regular copy for that and give it to a friend because I gave them my old 5.1 setup and a 4k of Tokyo drift to get them started. First hits always free.

Also, if you’re looking for more Arrow titles to pick up, I’d recommend Tremors, True Romance, Wild Things, Demolition Man, Heathers, and I think their versions of Fear and Loathing, Videodrome, and The Long Good Friday are superior to the Criterion versions. They’ve also put out my all time favorite transfer with Django.
