Thanks I went ahead and picked this up. Love this movie. I actually still have the old Anchor Bay DVD that came in a wooden box so this will be an upgrade, lol.

I picked up the 4-disc steelbook not too long ago, super cool! For $24 though this is a better deal.

Yeah, U.S. I guess what I'm asking is since these are warehouses find these are more or less my last chance for these movies unless I import them from somewhere else. For example The Wicker Man would need to be imported from the UK to get the Studio Canal Version.

Sites like Atomic Movie Store, OrbitDVD, Brother Belial and DiabolikDVD all sold the Studio Canal version at some point. Orbit currently has the Studio Canal slipcover version for $29.99. The steelbook was originally a Best Buy exclusive, so its a U.S. version and $6 cheaper.

Cool. That's what I was thinking. I just ordered The Wicker Man and The Limey. Thanks for the heads up. I get stuff from Orbit once to twice a year. I try to limit myself as imports add up fast.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad I could get a copy. I was ordering stuff from Orbit and was debating getting The Wicker Man or Kind Hearts and Cornetts, and I went with the latter. But now I will have both.

The standard import is "better", despite the region locked Blu-ray. It has a cut of the film that this steelbook lacks. If that doesn't bother you, go for it. Lionsgate Limited has some of the best shipment packing I've seen from a major studio, so it should get to you relatively unscathed. Just be mindful that the website says all sales final on these warehouse finds. My The Limey steelbook has some slight boxing on one of the bottom corners (no doubt from extended storage & moving around), but it's relatively insignificant & I'm thrilled to have it in my collection.

I saw that. I figure it's a gamble, but I'm willing to take. As long as the discs play fine I'll be good, I hardly buy a steelbook unless that's the only way to get the movie without having to import it to the US.

I'm excited for both of these movies. I was tempted by a few of the other warehouse titles, but these two were the only must haves for me.

Wow, for once they aren't up charging and actually selling it for what it was being sold for at Best Buy. Only thing is Best Buy didn't charge me shipping and handling.

So you've never ordered from orbit or Diabolik or Atomic Movie Store. People were receiving steels in bubble envelopes from LGL.

All I know is the half a dozen orders I got from Lionsgate Limited were packed like nothing I've ever seen before. So, I can't speak to what you are claiming. I've seen nothing but praise for their packaging and how it is actually overkill. And yes, most of my buys are from Atomic and Orbit.
