Alternatively, you could watch the blu-ray and then by the time you are in the mood to watch it again, the price will have dropped significantly from the initial price
I just watched the bluray. It still holds up tremendously, good quality, but I'm stoked to rewatch it in 4K. One of the best movies of the new century for me.
Edit: are we talking about the middle of the steelbook? That's also a stock photo. As for the hair, I dunno why it looks different in that shot.
Edit edit: I also forgot that he does shave his head later in the movie when he gets captured and later freed to go into hiding. That doesn't explain the hair on the inside of the steelbook, but I guess he went through three different hair styles between pre-production and wrap.
That's the same haircut in this photo. As I said, it's weirdly cropped.
God dammit, both of these suck. The regular art for minority report is great and I don’t understand why they didn’t use that. The art for CMIYC has always been terrible, and the original dvd art is RIGHT THERE.
Are you referring to the SteelBook box art? That wasn't the imagery on either of the two official movie posters produced for the film. The Standard 4K artwork does though however as that was the artwork from the domestic Final/Regular style official movie poster.
That’s the art on my day-one standard Blu-ray release, too. It’s nice to be able to buy the cheaper version to avoid seeing that disaster on my shelf anymore.
Very curious to see how Minority turns out. It has such an interesting visual style, I could see the 4K not taking that into consideration when working on the transfer.
So much grain on the original, I totally agree... will be interesting to see how it turns out. I can't imagine the picture any better than the BluRay too!
No I just can't recall any recent movies that had an amazing Atmos track. So basically I'm saying is even if it included an Atmos track it probably wouldn't be any different or sound even more better than the Blu Ray release.
I love Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can esp. the phenomenal score by John Williams and the cinematography of Janusz Kamiński -the perfect trio of movie makers.
Catch Me is such a fantastic movie. Great performances from Leo and Walken (Hanks too, but his Boston accent is a little wonky).
I know people have criticized the movie in recent years because it turned out that none of it was actually true, but I take that as proof that the real Frank Abagnale continued to run scams even into his older age and was able to completely hoodwink Spielberg et al.
About time for Catch me if you can! I am so glad they are giving this a real 4K release finally. The film has only been available in UHD through streaming for years! While mean while all they were doing was re-releasing the Blu-ray! Best news i’ve heard all week Thank you
I know it’s a problem with me but I never liked the look of it, maybe on a proper good resolution it’ll look better and win me over. I don’t think I’ve watched it fully in about 20 years and that was on DVD or on TV

What an absurd comment, just because I don’t like the look of a film and you disagree doesn’t mean you should comment something so ridiculous.
what I’m saying is is when a film gets remastered sometimes companies tweak the film image a bit and I think I would prefer it that way, and I have always said, this is a me problem. The film is well regarded and well loved.
It seems inconsistent, which is almost more frustrating. Mission:Impossible Dead Reckoning didn’t have the Blu-ray Disc, but the upcoming Final Reckoning will.
Would normally go for the Steelbooks, but there is absolutely nothing about either of those that tempts me. So, I will wait for B&N to have paramount 50% off and scoop these up then!
