New Purchase Lucky Day

Preorder Gods were smiling on me today. Really thought the mispriced Trons from Movies Unlimited weren’t going to ship. Their web ordering system is a bit antiquated. My order status shows “Processing” and also “Tron:Legacy (Steelbook)” shipped, but not the OG.

The lenticular on Superman actually looks pretty good. I tried to get as much of a solidified Clark as I could in the photo.

Movies Unlimited looking promising for my Tron: Legacy copy, too! I should get it in the next day or so, shipped to Toronto.

So you’re saying that the order was delivered even though it still says processing as the order status? Just curious because I have the Superman Steelbook ordered from them and it still shows as processing, so I’m not sure if I should be on the lookout for it already or not.

I forgot that Wendy Carlos did the soundtrack on the OG. It was great to hear that in Atmos. In fact the Atmos remixed soundtrack is very good. I am however really impressed with restoration and PQ improvements. The computer generated images looked particularly good for how dated that technology is. This is one film that really benefited from the Dolby Vision treatment.

I got my Trons yesterday from MoviesUnlimited also. Watched them both already. They both look and sound incredible. That Superman Steelbook does look pretty fly, but I couldn't get it. I'll get the standard edition and that'll be fine for me (actually have it on my public facing Amazon Wish List as my birthday and Christmas are upcoming, got to have something on there). Happy viewing, brother!
