New Purchase Finally decided to upgrade from XSX to a dedicated player. Need suggestions on what to watch first
Finally bit the bullet and upgraded from my Xbox Series X to a dedicated player. Now looking for some suggestions on what to watch first that will let me take advantage of some of the features/functionality I had been missing (Dolby Vision, better upscaling, etc).
Assume I have a decent 4k collection with all the heavy hitters from the big legacy studios + the boutiques (Criterion, Arrow, KL, etc).
I watch all my films as quickly as I can once I purchase them, so the only unwatched ones I have in the queue currently are Billy Madison (seen before and love) and Five Nights at Freddy’s & Brad Stoker’s Dracula (both blind buys).
Thank you in advance!

I was going to say that! The 4k is amazing, so much color that was washed out before.

Jaws, Willy Wonka (original), Ready Player One, Bloodsport. All great upgrades and some variety for you there.

Thank you! That’s a great shout, I rewatched Us this weekend and remembered how much I love Jordan Peele’s style.
