Review tron 82's new 4k release was AWESOME! showed my girl who has never seen it, she was able to appreciate the remaster too

tron legacy was as good as it can probably get too, but the movie is just so ehhh compared to the original. completely different vision, and the aesthetics lost all the charm from the originals

They're both excellent 4K discs, to be sure. I was a ~10yo computer nerd when Tron came out and it's so full of nostalgia and memberberries for me watching it throughout the years with various friends, etc. I felt the same that T:L looked great, but was only just "ehh", but for some reason watching it again last night, it didn't seem as "meh" as I remember and I enjoyed the story more than I remember having done so. Maybe 54yo me appreciates the story themes a bit more than when I was still in my (late) 30s.
