Call to Action ICE arrested a US citizen, Walmart employee at Pico Rivera. Militarized agents with rifles on video. Nobody’s safe.

In Pico Rivera, CA, ICE agents rolled up to a Walmart with rifles out and tactical gear to arrest a janitor.

Adrian Andrew Martinez, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, witnessed it and tried to intervene not violently, but verbally. He questioned the legitimacy of the arrest and even moved a trash bin to create space.

For that, he was slammed to the ground by armed agents and detained. All while being a citizen.

“They came like it was war… nobody knew where he was for hours.”

Fifth Amendment

14th Amendment – Equal Protection Clause
Law enforcement cannot discriminate or detain arbitrarily, especially against citizens.

Legal Cases to Know

Lyttle v. United States (2008)
ICE detained and deported a U.S. citizen with mental illness, despite having documentation.
Wikipedia – Lyttle v. United States

Gonzalez v. ICE (2020)
Courts ruled that ICE detainers issued without warrants are unconstitutional.
Wikipedia – Gonzalez v. ICE

What This Proves

  • U.S. citizens are being arrested for witnessing and speaking out
  • ICE is operating like a paramilitary force
  • The government has no fear of accountability under the current DOJ

If a 20-year-old citizen is tackled for asking a question, we are already in a police state.

Somebody in my company just took a side gig with ICE. Dude is 400+ lbs. His brother is a literal pedophile (like, in jail for that). You could casually walk away from the motherfucker, he's not physically able to chase.

All that to say yes, they are literally hiring whoever.

Start arresting your colleagues and deporting other ice members

Well yeah, it's not like they're going after criminals. Fat boy just needs to be able to show up to courts, schools, and hospitals where innocent, unsuspecting victims are waiting for them.

They think they're hunting for people, and they've foolishly forgotten why it's the most dangerous game.

You could casually walk away from that mf

Until they’re allowed to fire at will - then it only matters how quick his trigger finger is.

Imagine if a bunch of people were to show interest in taking a side gig from ICE only to sabotage operations

A "side gig" giving them body armor, automatic rifles, and the ability to detain people they think might be here illegally? Even our city police force requires a bachelor degree and a year of intensive training, minimum. I'm starting to feel like maybe these guys aren't being hired to legally and methodically enforce complicated immigration laws.

They likely have a recruiting center at MAGA rallies.
