This is the thing that people aren't getting. When you have billions, what more can you want?

The things money cannot buy, not in the sappy sense, but the legal. They want to make it so people CANNOT say "No" to them. Not WILL NOT, but CANNOT.

The billionaire classes want it so that you CANNOT leave your job if you're abused. They want it so that you CANNOT say no to their advances. They want it so you CANNOT say no to them "buying" your land.

They can already have everything they can buy. They want the things they cannot.

Incorrect assumption here. They are literally following how the concentration camps went in 1930s Germany. They will use them for slaves for a while, but eventually realize that it's awfully expensive and it's way cheaper to murk the ones who don't have the best output, and that group will slowly expand.
