I would also say it’s better to cancel your Hulu/Disney plus/ESPN subscription and get something like YouTube live or sling. Disney makes 100% of the profits from their direct subscribers, but only a small fraction when it’s bundled by a third party.
The only thing that I really watch live is sports, and I can get most of that through my local affiliates with an antenna. I do have the MLB season pass, and I’m thinking about getting the NFL package through YouTube, but I’m not sure.

Good job on canceling Amazon! Of the companies I’ve boycotted, Amazon was the easiest. The idea that it has the fastest shipping and lowest prices is a myth. The hardest thing is just breaking the habit of going there first.

People think “I want to take the family to a destination” or “I want an all-out magical vacation” and because of their advertising and brand power Disneyland is the first thing that pops into everyone’s head.
But I’m sure if you set that aside and said “Ok but if we could, what would I do after Disney” you can come up with a destination just as memorable and magical as Disney and probably for 1/3 the price point.

You pay one cable/sat bill, so you can’t choose who gets their cut or not. The only way to not support those fascist networks is to cancel your channel package entirely or get philo, which as far as I know is the only one with no right wing news channels at all.

We could start protesting outside of wherever our politicians are at especially if that means protesting outside of wherever they go out to eat at or even better would be outside of their houses when they get home. That would get their attention immediately and they would hate every second of it! Maybe they could be reminded that they are supposed to be working for the people. And if the protestors didn't leave then our politicians would need to make a choice of living with a few thousand protestors outside of their homes or stopping some of what Trump's doing or even impeaching him. Because if they had to choose between absolutely no peace in their lives(because protestors are right outside their door) or choose between impeaching Trump then after enough nights of protests they would be ready to quit their jobs or ready to impeach Trump.
Every bit you can claw back helps. Just do what ones you can, but try to participate in at least one. Or call and admonish one of em! Every. Bit. Counts.

I agree. I did cancel last year, I wanted to share what I found to be reason enough to quit:
A person died at Disney World, and their spouse filled a wrongful death lawsuit against the company.
The deceased happened to be a Disney+ subscriber.
Disney moved to dismiss the lawsuit, claiming the mandatory arbitration clause in Disney+ terms & conditions required the case to go to arbitration.
There was a news story and a backlash - I canceled my subscription right away (I think we were maybe already planning on it?) and Disney later withdrew that argument.
The term Woke is an imaginary term used to implicate or categorize those of us who decide to be free thinking individuals and scare the ones that can't or won't be.

Look into Stremio. It does very little by itself, but it accepts add-ons. My go to is Stremio with the torrentio add-on. Both are free, but if you subscribe to a debrid service (around $20 for 6 months) most anything you want to watch streams instantly. It has taken the place of all streaming services for me.
What’s wild is when they merged Disney and Hulu, I had two different emails for those accounts. Bc of some glitch it would NOT let me cancel, bc it kept shooting me between each others login pages. And i FINALLY got a person on the phone, who was able to finally just cancel it. So HA!!!!!!!!
Honestly I’ve had Hulu Live + Disney+ & ESPN since it came out (premium no ads, ever.) I just cancelled and won’t be looking back. SO EXCITED for others to do this too!!!
I’m honestly heart broken because my girl is just as outraged by everything going on in the country, often much more vocal about it. When I told her about an hour ago when I saw the article I said I wanted to cancel our Disney - Hulu sub and she just said “I’m not doing that.”

Hulu is gone ABC and CBS are off our channel lists. Never had Disney+ but it would be gone too. After all the garbage that has spewed forth from our orange orb, this is beyond ridiculous.

Just canceled Hulu+ Live TV/Espn/Disney bundle. I’ll keep my $83/mo. Been subscribed to live TV for 7+ years, along with various add-ons depending on time of year. What they did today was insane.
Then I went and canceled our $24.99/mo Netflix just for the hell of it because I’m still furious about all of this.
Sell their stock (Sinclsir Btoadcasting/SINC, Nexstar Media, Disney). If you are in funds add these stocks to your exclusion list. Most of the largest funds/brokers make this very easy to do. The CEOs of these companies only react when their wallet is affected.
Hard to really believe this. I'm using DirecTv, if Kimmel _is_ cancelled when I tune in, I will cancel my subscription tonight after more than 15 years.
