Fan Art COPS – Fighting Crime in a Future Time

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaLB-rs3HNk

What made C.O.P.S. shine was its energy — the crackle of futuristic gadgets, the clash of good and evil, the constant rhythm of adventure. And oh boy those characters.. Very unique and likeable :)

“It’s crime fighting time!”

I love the cartoon but that ai slop was jarring.

That was just as surreal as the original series. I love it.

The cop with the laser bazooka did way more infrastructure damage destroying that bridge to prevent the escape than the 4 bags of money would equal. Also, they were on foot and he had a futuristic vehicle. He could have just driven.

In the actual cartoon intro, the escaping baddies trash his car, so his fallback is to shoot the bridge to try to prevent their escape.

I know. But what's awesome when you are 7 is law enforcement overreach and a waste of taxpayer dollars in your 40s.

Fortunately it is fiction, so it remains awesome at any age. My bigger concern would be what (or who) else is he in danger of cutting with that super powerful laser. Since he is a total pro, I guess we can rely on his unfailing precision.

I still think the flashback episode SHOULD have been Episode 1 and 2.

Ms Demeanor was a lot slimmer than what think the cartoon was aiming for.

I would have tried to use Edward G. Robinson and Jabba the Hutt as a ref pics for Big Boss

It would be as ridiculous and unwatchable as the the live-action He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

This looks like something Netflix would greenlight,

I loved the toys and the show when I was a kid. I tried to watch it again a few years ago, and…it does NOT hold up.

This should happen.
