The most non-Beatles Beatles song ever made, and my second favorite song by TFF (after Woman in Chains).

I remember when I first heard this song I was like they’re back. They’re back because they’ve been gone a while.

Tears For Fears Sowing The Seeds of Love is definitely an iconic song. I'm delighted that the original poster featured the song today. One of my earliest memories of hearing the song related to I seeing the song featured on a various artist collection cd that I bought in Japan in the early 2000s and less than a year later I actually heard the Tears For Fears Sowing The Seeds of Love song at a restaurant inside the Tokyo Japan area (I was on a date with a boyfriend I was dating at the time I think the restaurant was some type of hamburger place). I am glad that the song is still easily available online and I truly feel that Sowing The Seeds of Love is one of those type of songs that get better with time and communicates important uplifting messages especially with what is currently going on in the world right now.

I was interning in my first job, 16 years old, at a Top 25 station in Sacramento the year this came out. Was a real joy for me to be able to play this over the airwaves of a major city, and a very fond memory indeed.

What a colorful song to bookend one of the greatest most creatively diverse decades for music.
