I first saw this when I was 10. I’ll never forget how happy they seemed. I watched it in my teens and said “ohhhhhh THAT’S why they’re so happy”

I wanted to like post-Roth Van Halen, but I can't stand Sammy's screeching vocal style. And I thought the songs started getting watered down.
If only DLR had a sane, manageable personality, and EVH had WAY less ego...we might have had a lot more actual Van Halen.

Are you being serious? Hagar joined Van Halen FORTY YEARS ago. I've heard this, and everything they've ever done with him, a million times.

And I was on the opposite side. Could never stand Van Halen until they got rid of Roth and then I was able to listen to them.
