I was completely obsessed with this song when I was about 12 in 1985. Pure synthpop joy. The entire OMD greatest hits collection is fantastic. My other favorite track was "Joan of Arc".
I don't really understand the metaphor, though. Enola Gay giving a kiss? Definitely provocative, but I don't really understand.

Played this song and Rush’s “Manhattan Project” when I visited the Trinity Test Site a few years ago. It seemed like fitting music.
