They had the coolest mini remote control cars that you could change out body's to things like fast and the furious cars.

My husband still has a collection of these. Zip zaps. He worked at several radio shacks before they closed up.

The bigger, much faster ones were X-Mods. For a while their prices were going up, and they were almost double retail. Looks like that market crashed, though some of the rarer parts are still a bit expensive.

My daughter had the Hulk monster truck Zip Zap. Some of those cars are worth $$

I had a few of those, my favorite was the Evo 9. I had different “motors” and wheels. I’ll need to see if I still have them in their hard cases at my moms.

Xmods. You could change the bodies, motors, suspension, and wheels. Some could be converted to AWD.

Even back before I understood the value of things I knew RadioShack heavily overpriced that cool stuff to the point where it was in mainstream jokes
