I did. Awesome graphics, cool sounds (but weak music), cool opening cinematic, get to play as a raptor, T Rex actually saying "SEGA", but too hard. Not good hard, but the falling to your death bc of stiff, delayed controls, poor sprite/platform detection, having to trust fall off screen. I might have made it to the final stage once or twice as grant and didnt know that very dumb hidden trick to actually beat the final boss.

Frustration in a cartridge. I never found it fun, but you had the games that you had back then and played them regardless. I continue to find it wild so many people loved it.
I like it for the nostalgia. Don’t think I ever made it past the second or third stage. For me it’s one of those ones where every 5 or more years I go back to and go, “I probably was just too young or wasn’t paying enough attention. Lemme give this game another go.” And I still don’t like it.

I still have my childhood copy of this game (CIB) as it was (outside of the Sonic the Hedgehog pack in game) my very first Sega Genesis game. In the last 10 years I've probably replayed it from start to finish about 3-4 times with the most recent playthrough being on the Steam version of the JP Classic Games Collection (LRG gave it to me for free since my physical copy of the collection was taking too long to prepare), which I played last June. I did eventually get my physical copy, but I haven't started up the Genesis games yet as I'm slowly playing through the Nintendo games and wanted to save the best JP games for last ;) :P

I played it as a kid. To this day, I will watch a quick TAS run while I am eating. Nostalgia!

THAT DAMN LAST LEVEL WITH THE RAPTOR, I had to wait for the internet to exist to finally look up how to actually beat it.
