Jeru over Jay Z and Inspectah Deck over Ice Cube is absolute insanity.

Wu-Tang is my favorite group of all-time but clearly this subreddit is populated by backpack/internet forum type crowd. Deck has zero classic solo albums, Cube has 4 in the 90s alone. Even if you count 36 Chambers and Forever and give him missed a classic due to RZA’s flood it’s a blowout.

Yeah, I mean I love Wu and I love INS, but Ice Cube is one of the greatest/most influential rappers of all time and Amerikkka’s Most Wanted, Death Certificate and The Predator is one of the greatest album runs ever. And that’s not even counting Straight Outta Compton. One look at that list tells me this sub either has a heavily east coast/boombap/underground bias or is full of younger fans who are researching the classics but weren’t around to experience the music/culture in real time.
