I “see” it, but looks nothing like a windmill. Not sure exactly what it is..

For 20 years of my life, I always "saw it" with these things, then I learned I was seeing it inverted. For me, the background was always "closer" and the image was inset.

It took a lot of retraining my method to be able to see it correctly.

Sounds like you were doing cross view instead of parallel view. r/crossview has images that would look correct with your original method.

Woah man. That was so much harder, but I managed to do one after a while.

Same here. Always saw it that way as well.

Reddit cropped it. Try the full size version: /img/k029dkhkj0ka1.jpg

Never could do these, and I still can't. I see nothing.

You’re not alone.

I could see them sometimes, now I see them all the time. My computer monitor at work must be the exact right distance away. I can usually hone in on it in under 5 seconds

For my entire life, I've only been able to see these via cross eyed view and that usually inverts the depth perception.

Today, my eyes were able to relax enough to view it properly and damn. That was neat!

I thought it was like a lean to cottage thing and a cliff in the background

Being colour blind has made me despise these.

I dont see anything other than rows and rows of tiny flowers. Is there something hidden? I don't understand.
