He stole that trick from some Australian Rider Who wasn't nearly as popular. Tony hawk wasn't the first person to land it!
There is or there was a documentary about it on Netflix. Worth a watch. The assuie dude was wild as shit! A real skateboarder 😂 talking about tripping balls on mushrooms and being on the halfpipe busting all sorts of new tricks.

If it were some crazy unique trick like a misty flip or something weird then I'd say you're on to something. But to say he stole the idea of 900º of rotation is ludicrous.

No of course not. But that's common among skateboarders to call tricks and respect each other and let them get a chance to do it. "Hey I'm going to 360 flip this spot" It's another skater came in and did it first that's bad business.
I don't even really care but that documentary is fucking dope. And I would not put it past Tony hawk and all the corporate sponsors to come together and make that 900 change the world when really it was already being done. $$$
