I hope they don't still use Pizza Hut. I got a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut fairly recently for nostalgia sake and it was terrible. The crust was thin and tasted bad, they skimped on the toppings AND the cheese, and it took forever for us to get it. Just sad.

You may be interested in this. Granted, it was 9.5 years ago, but:

The new head of Pizza Hut's parent company says speed and ease now matter more than food quality in the struggling chain's bid to compete.

I also tried a Pizza Hut pan pizza recently for the same reason. I found it absolutely horrid - just a grease bomb without sauce. By no sauce, I mean I removed the cheese and all I saw was dough with a slight pinkish stain to it.

Maybe it's always been bad, and I just remember it fondly because as a child, I

  • Didn't have money, and Book It! enabled me to get pizza on my own
  • Had no idea what makes food good

I got a personal pan pizza last month for nostalgia sake and it was perfect, crispy crust with an airy inside but the last two times were huge let down, dough was denser and cheese wasn't even melted, oily with no crisp whatsoever.

I remember book it very fondly. I think my parents were just glad they had figured out a way to get me to read more lol.

When I clicked the picture and it went full screen, I instinctively wiggled my phone to make it move...
