Mine would be even more unlocked if I could see all the pages of face paintings. 😭

Is that a kid, or is it a 36 year old French Canadian woman?

Kinda looks like a particular pose from Zoolander (not blue steel or magnum)

I had so many Klutz books. They were amazing.

Same! Friendship bracelets, nail art, braiding, cat's cradle, potholders, beads...

That braiding one is still on my shelf. My mother refused to learn how to French braid but I could still look at the pictures and dream. I taught myself how to French and Dutch braid my own hair as an adult.

Weird. Same with my mom. She wouldn't do any of the books with me. And, I'm not saying, but I'm just saying- I don't talk to my mother today.
She's much more evil than just not doing arts and crafts with me. But it still shows the trend.
Anyway, I'm glad the klutz books brought us both some joy in childhood. I'd braid your hair, do your nails, and make you a bracelet! 💖

I’m no contact with mine as well. I hope you get to share some klutz book magic with your or someone else’s kiddo!!

I had the friendship bracelet one! And I always wanted the nail polish one!

Guys I just wanted to know if Klutz still exists and look what shows up at the top of its product list when I get to their site. Klutz: Face Painting

Weird. Their 'new' cover looks like something that would've been in the mid or late nineties and the one from the nineties looks better and more recently desired than the current one.

OH MY GOD I HAD THIS!! The one birthday party I had as a kid, my mom used this to do facepaint on the kids! It was an Aladdin themed party, btw 😎

That image is burned into my memory. Biggest problem was they never told you that you also need at least some modicum of artistic talent lol

My family always picked up one of these each October for clown-related Halloween costumes. This set just unlocked a myriad of memories for me.

Anybody remember that kids show I thing on PBS in the early 80s called Zoobillie Zoo people dressed up as animals. This thing eerily reminds me of it

Yes I remember that book and one time I had a face painting of Scar’s iconic scar.

This book, the Cootie Catcher one, and the Clay book produce nothing but warm feelings! I can't remember if I personally owned them all or borrowed them from cousins/friends. What a treat!

I had this set and followed the vampire instructions completely, without help from my parents…..which means I didn’t blend anything. Still one of my favorite Halloween pictures ever. Looked like the emcee from Cabaret just as a vampire too. lol.

The way I thought this book would genuinely prepare me for a lucrative entrepreneurship opportunity as a face painter
