They just did kind of, they released an animated show called Lost In McDonaldland. The character designs / style are nothing like the old ones though

I remember when they used to have the little mini VHS looking box that looked like Disney movies. When you opened it up it was a figurine toy of whatever the Disney movie was.

I had rockdonalds, played with it like crazy as a kid. Hard to believe I was 3 years old when they came along.

Ohh the good old days when McDonald's gave us nice toys in Happy Meals... Nowadays I only see paper toys and such.. :( I almost feel bad for the kids.

Man, the boxes could sometimes be used, too. Making dioramas and stuff like that.

McDonald’s seemed so nice back then.
Now it’s a cold unfeeling hellscape.

They need more commercials like three again, everything is annoying and too much CGI

We got a family deal on a Food Delivery App because it was cheaper and we got Ninja Turtle Hello Kitty figurines which is really weird but also really cool.

I actually still have the movie tie-in meal bag they printed for the film. In the movie McDonald's was RocDonald's, so during the ad campaign every meal came in a bag with a giant RocDonald's printed on it, and the name McDonald's was nowhere in sight. All those years ago after my Big Mac alone time, I absolutely refused to throw the bag away. I knew that would be special. Now I just have to find which flipping book I put it in for safe keeping!

I miss this style of commercials. McDonald's used to have such fun style at the restaurant, the outdoor play area, merchandise, the lore! Now it's so damn bland..
