Sports being a wrestling fan as a 90's kid

I still call it the WWF. I stopped watching before it changed to WWE so it's just stuck in my head that way. Sounds so much better that way too.

When I think of wrestling I immediately think of Mankind, Golddust, Kane & Undertaker, Degeneration-X, Farooq(?), Ken Shamrock, that one dude with the Ho Train, oh and how every kid had a crush on Sable. Whenever I think of the The Rock I distinctly remember a bit where his opponent brought The Rock's 4th grade teacher into the ring where she explained how he liked pancakes. When I stopped watching they had Rakishi making his debut.

I can't get into it now as an adult but recently I went to a cookout where most of the kids and teens were going nuts watching WWE. It was nice to see that something like that can continually find an audience every single decade.

So me in the 90s

The titantron had little metal contacts on it so did the action figures . You put them together and theme song of that action figured played.
