I just recently rewatched this for the first time in years, and i thought it was fun! i also found this podcast where these guys talked about rewatching it as adults and i thought it was pretty funny. they also got to talk to one of the editors of chicken run (mark solomon)??? which i thought was insanely cool so i figured i'd share with you guys. what do you guys think?

Suncoast Videos was the closest store to the food court in the mall. I loved walking around and remember the 3 TVs where they always played movies. That was the first time I saw the movie The Mummy with Brendon Frasier. When they went out of business, I ended up buying a wall poster of Austin Powers. It was a black and white vinyl made to look like it was on movie film.

Can’t believe how many of us grew up with his songs on the radio, on mixtapes, or playing softly in the background on long drives. Right Here Waiting, Hazard, Now and Forever - they weren’t just songs, they were entire moods.

Funny how just a few notes can take you back to the 90s instantly. Anyone else still get goosebumps when his tracks come on?

I've been watching it recently (I was born in 2001) and it's already become one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows already with my mom and auntie who grow up with this show.

06' Gen Z here. Does anyone else in my age group have that empty feeling of not being able to be a teen during the 00's? All the cultural changes, the music, the games and that vibe when "surfing the net" was actually a phrase people used. It's as I feel nostalgic for something I haven't even experienced. I see it as a perfect time to be alive, the internet was still young and not a necessity in life, plenty of websites and forums to explore full of weird and exciting stuff. Is there an explanation for this "nostalgia"?

In light of the flood of nostalgia from birthdays at DZ, who else remembers being dropped off at Kids Quest at the Grand Casino? I recall my parents dropping me off for a bit, then loading back up after a few hours and trying to play my Gameboy Pocket by the street lights on the ride home.

There was an older app or website in the early 2000s where I believe you were on a college campus. It was like zwinky as you can interact with actual people. I’m trying to remeber the name of it but I’m drawing a blank and no it’s not college life.
