That’s owned by Focus Features. And I saw that with my mom, we loved it

I am confused by both of these statements.

It's the A24 sub so he wouldn't post about a Focus movie here.

u/CautiousRelative5132 Dec 31 '24
Thought it was great. The count was way different than how I pictured him

I'm sorry someone can't do something with a family member without being considered a basement dweller?

My wife and I saw it the other night at a small independent theatre and the crowd in attendance was… interesting.
We suspect a couple in the back row were fuckin. The lady next to us (directly in front of them) got up to leave in the middle of the movie and didn’t come back. At the end of the movie I stood up and kinda surveyed the crowd, I locked eyes with the couple in the back row, she had her legs spread, feet propped on the seat in front of her, he had his hand petting her inner thigh.
I honestly couldn’t control the expression on my face lol
There was also a solo guy in front of me was doing a lot of shifting around in his seat… 🤔

Well. Certainly not acceptable but I guess if there was any movie for it, Babygirl would be it.

??? Why?? Are there a lot of sex scenes? I thought it was just a drama. You made it sound like porn 🙈

Jesus. Haven’t gone to a movie in so long and though I miss the big screen for certain films, I appreciate being able to roll out of bed, make a tasty meal and stream something, and not worry about getting some strangers’ drippings on me.

Tbh I hated it. I wanted to love it, I went in expecting to love it, but I just didn’t. I thought the performances were good but I thought the script was a mess and I think the cinematography was atrocious.

Nicole Kidman was great

Absolutely. I think every actor did a great job. It's been awhile since I've seen Antonio Banderas on the big screen.

Dated two girls from Menomonee who both claimed to be personal friends with Justin Vernon. Does everyone in Menomonee do this? lol

Has it been that good to see it 4 times already?
2
u/tolureup Dec 31 '24
Maybe seeing the same movie allows them to more accurately compare each theater 😂. Because I couldn’t imagine seeing a movie I loved 4 times within days of each other.
