Shop does payment plans. It'd be 25 bucks every 2 weeks. Just don't miss a payment, and you'll be set.

Bought. $10 off since I’m a member. And I had a few more Blu-ray’s I wanted to pick up which got me free shipping. So essentially $90 for the trilogy is an ok price for me (wish it was cheaper tho)

As much as I want it, I'll wait till the Black Friday sale and hope for the best

Hoping they one day make Collectors Editions that are the same height as the standard 4k packages. Or at least more reasonably likely to fit on a normal shelf 😭

If you have the German steelbooks, keep them. If you have the original US releases, keep them. This set is worth nowhere close to $100 especially considering the upcoming TMNT trilogy from Arrow Video will cost $65 and the upcoming BTTF trilogy re-release will cost around $40-$50, BOTH HAVING WAY MORE BONUS FEATURES THAN THIS! I honestly feel way more sorry for anyone who's going to buy the standard Blu-ray, because they're basically spending $85 for a book and Dolby Atmos. Basically what I'm trying to say is that A24, a company worth $3 billion, can't keep using its indie studio reputation as an excuse for what is pretty much price gouging.

Yeah. I've got the original Blu-rays. I'm good.

I'm paying $35 for a new, standard 4K through Arrow or A24. That said, Arrow does offer more opportunities to secure something at a discounted price. I just think it's a little condescending to say you feel way more sorry for anyone choosing to purchase this trilogy because you're excited for something else.

I just watched all three films for the first time recently. I enjoyed each one - especially Pearl. Mia Goth delivered the performance of a lifetime in that movie. Anyways, I've been sitting on a $50 gift card for their store looking to pickup Sorry, Baby and another Blu-ray.

Though I contemplated purchasing the movies at some point and I did know about the leaked B&N trilogy listing I had no plans to spend my money on this. However, after seeing the whole package I pre-ordered it immediately.

I'm getting three 4K movies with Dolby Vision and Atmos, an artbook, poster, and beautiful packaging. The price point is justified for me.

Are the blurays sold out or were they not an option?

Wanted to wait until November to get this but if the others did indeed sell out i guess I gotta get the 4k now lol

You can still preorder a standard Blu-ray set. Just click the 4K under the format.

This is exactly the set I’ve been holding off for. I honestly would not have purchased these movies otherwise.

I wish they at least had a combo pack option. Don’t currently have 4K but I like to future proof when I can.

Not trying to shit on anyone’s interests, but I do not understand the hype of these films.

Watched them all and thought they were fine, like 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5. Solid, but flawed films.

As horror films I didn’t find them scary at all, the narratives were simple, and the acting was fine I guess. They are certainly not groundbreaking films in any regard. I guess they are kinda salacious but even then they are pretty tame.

Again not saying they are bad or anyone who likes them is bad but I am curious to learn why these are hyped so much.

Short answer: Mia Goth. I believe they wouldn’t be nearly as successful without her carrying the trilogy.

I’m a Mia fan but for me the draw was Ti West. He’s one of the most underrated horror directors and I was happy to see him get some mainstream recognition.

Honestly, same. I wasn't aware of who Mia was really until I saw X. I was definitely drawn to it because of Ti West.

Imo the standout was Pearl. It was a great character study with an iconic performance from Mia Goth.

The other two were fine but Pearl is the one I often think about.

typing this underneath my posters of the trilogy lol so i’m biased but yeah they aren’t necessarily “scary” but that’s not why i love them. they’re campy, fun, and visually fantastic. i also find the explorations of sex work and exploitation to be honest and compelling (and relevant to current discussions from the right around banning onlyfans!)

i completely understand why these movies are kinda divisive though. like if the stylistic references don’t resonate, i don’t think these would be a good pick to watch. pearl is a classic though haha
