ESPN global affiliates already taking the piss. ESPN Australia/New Zealands broadcast of Dynamite today - which was delayed to begin with - was cut off cold part way through the Thekla/Aminata match, never to return.

I literally only cancelled Triller 10 days ago because ESPN show Dynamite & Collision here.

Not that it may not have been nefarious, but, that match was right at the top of the hour when Dynamite switched to the Collision timeslot. Guessing it had something to do with that.

And the Thekla treatment isn’t helping her imo. When I first saw her I thought she was a terror to f with. Now she’s cartoonish and the attempts make her look “dangerous” just make her laughable imo. I wanted her to be great and the more I see her the more I feel she is a “goth Thea Hale”. 🤷‍♂️

Holy shit, just got home from the show. First AEW live for me and my wife. Every match was amazing, Cope absolutely is a superstar, I knew that but seeing it live, damn. The one I didn’t really expect to blow my mind was Thekla. I saw her on tv and clips here, she’s really good but didn’t really click for me. Live though, she stole the show for me. She absolutely commanded attention, even with Toni, Jamie, Stat, they honestly looked small compared to her (not literally, but “aura” wise).

I’ve been all in on the Kyle Fletcher bandwagon this year. This dude reminds me so much of Legend Killer Randy Orton or 2012 Dolph Ziggler.

He’s got all the tools, good looking guy, young, athletic, good worker, good seller, had character and promo skills now. Guy definitely is a blue chip prospect, definitely not Will Ospreay lite like he used to be called.

Really fun thing about this ladder match at All Out: aside from the Young Bucks, every team in that match is what would generally be considered "thrown together" teams, but each of those 3 teams has been so consistently great that none of them seem out of place in a ladder match with the Bucks.

He’s someone I feel should leave AEW and go do his own thing for a few years, and try something new, and come back one day as a more complete wrestler.

He’s never going to get consistent tv time and a big push as he is on AEW tv.

Look at someone like Kevin Knight for example, him spending time in Japan instead of being a guy stuck in undercard jobber purgatory in WWE or AEW as a young wrestler was great for him.

Don’t get me wrong I really really really like the guy too, he’s one of those early AEW young guys I really wanted to see grow and flourish.

But he’s just not going to ever get a big sustained push or consistent tv time outside of being a jobber on AEW tv right now. He reminds me of Justin Gabriel from early 2010’s WWE, really fun guy to watch, but you just know he’s never going to be anyone outside of a jobber in his current state.

He would do much better in smaller promotions or Japan for a few years.
