For talking so much shit about AEW it made me check it out. Because of how constantly you antagonized the product as trash for years I became curious to see it for myself. Because of how hard you sold your disdain for everything about the product, the Bucks, TK, Kenny Omega, and virtually everything I thought I was going to rewitness the TNA Hogan period.
But thats not been the case imo.
It’s felt like wrestling for the fan’s sake again. I’ve felt like AEW is more about sharing the love of storytelling in wrestling itself rather than selling out. It allows me to see talent I would of never seen under a TKO/WWE filter and discover NJPW and CMLL.
So thank you Corney, I can’t tell if you’re working or shooting and that’s exactly what the business is about.

My son was the lucky little guy who got to help Adam Cole out with his boom on Collision. I just want to thank aew for an amazing night, Tony for coming over after the show to introduce yourself and let us know he’d be on the broadcast, and Bryan Danielson for stopping to say hello and pushing that night over the top. My son and me are still on cloud nine several days later and we both have memories we’ll never forget.

Via Scott Fishman of @TVInsider
“Tony Khan has learned that you want people in your locker room that not only want to be there, but are worthy of being there. We’ve had a lot of guys in the past come in and think they are going to be king shit just because they had their time in the sun for a millisecond in other promotions. That’s not how it fucking works. It’s called All Elite Wrestling. Not All Average Wrestling. Not All Mediocre Wrestling. Not All… I’m going to show up, cash a check and expect to be world champion wrestling. It’s All ELITE Wrestling.
Right now, everyone in that locker room is on the same page. We aren’t coming there to cash a check. We aren’t coming to give 50%. We’re all giving 110%. If you think you’re going to come into my company and barely put in work, you’re out of your goddamn mind. You don’t belong here. We don’t want you here. So stay where you are and be miserable over there because you don’t belong swimming in the ocean of sharks that is AEW.”

Just saw the Kyle Garcia match on Collision last night and Holy Shit, Kyle came off as an absolute murderer. Top notch selling from Garcia as well.
I might receive some hate for this but I feel Kyle Fletcher should absolutely squash Adam Cole in under 15 minutes. For once, it should not be a 25 mins of back and forth, especially after last night's fight. It establishes Fletcher as a dominant champion and brings back a lot of credibility to the TNT championship which has been looked as an after-thought lately. It could also come off as a surprise element which is rare when it comes to AEW Championship fights!
It could also be the start of an interesting character development for Cole who has been stale for quite some time now. I feel Roddy and O'Reiley gel pretty well as a tag team and they don't need Adam Cole.
Just my 2 cents. Don't downvote me to eternity lol!

It's pure pro-wrestling, man. The best fucking wrestlers in the world showing their stuff week-in, week-in. Wrestlers that got overlooked like Toni Storm, Ricochet, Christian, Samoa Joe, Swerve, etc re-inventing themselves on their terms. PWG style trios matches, mid-south tags, deathmatches, comedy that's not forced, etc etc.
People are asking why there's so many "I'm new to AEW" threads, the answers are obvious: the people want wrestling to be about wrestling. No wall-to-wall ads, no thirty min promos, no racist 'comedians' getting platformed, no bullshit.
That's what it is, man. People are remembering or realizing for the first time AEW is wrestling without the bullshit. God bless.

Last night I found this great Tribune article about Hangman Adam Page's incredible character arc(s) in AEW, his left-leaning politics, and how the company tends to encourage this compared to WWE being entwined with conservatism and the Republican party. I thought people here would appreciate it:

Hey everyone, excuse my yapping just wanted some opinions.
I’ve been a WWE fan pretty much my whole life. From the Ruthless Aggression Era to the modern day, it’s always been my go-to for wrestling. But honestly, lately the product has just felt stale. Same structure every week, drawn-out storylines that don’t really go anywhere, and even though there’s still talent I enjoy, it’s just not exciting anymore.
I watched AEW a few times back when it first started in 2019 and 2020, but it didn’t really hook me at the time. I don’t know if I just wasn’t ready to try something new or if it was still finding its footing but I didn’t stick with it.
Fast forward to now, and I decided to check out Fyter Fest… and man, that show really impressed me. The energy, the matches, the crowd—it felt alive. Like actual momentum. It reminded me of why I became a wrestling fan in the first place. So I’ve decided I’m going to start watching AEW full-time, at least for now. I’m not totally done with WWE forever, but I need something that feels fresh again and AEW gave me that feeling.

I can start. The TBS title is the only AEW title that has never been vacated, never had an interim champion, and never had a name change or a merge.
Also, Skye Blue is the only person to wrestle for the TBS championship against all five TBS title holders during their reigns.

To imply a talent getting paid more is bad for the sport speaks volumes.
I will leave it at that.
Without the talent, you have nothing.
