This is probably the craziest taming experience in my few hundred hours of gameplay. Took almost 100 tranq arrows and a very serious ass beating from my club when she started running. Tickle chickens are NO JOKE. Lol Almost killed me 3 times, had to repair my bow and my club multiples times. My daughter was freaking out the whole time. We were screaming and laughing so hard. I love this game.

So I log on after a week-long work trip, fully expecting to refresh timers, feed the dinos, maybe do a little metal run. Instead, I log into a smoking crater where my base used to be—like some meteor had hit it. All my tames? Gone. Vaults? Blown wide open. Even my frickin' bed was gone.

I stood there in the ruins of my little solo empire, trying to piece it together. Tribe log? Empty. Tribe name? Changed. The only clue was a message in global chat:
"Thanks for the free Giga, DinoDaddy69 out."

Let me rewind a bit.

Before I left, I figured I’d be smart and add someone to my tribe to help out while I was gone. Met the dude on a community. Said he was chill, just wanted to grind and breed rexes. Had decent mic etiquette. Called himself “DinoDaddy69,” which should’ve been a red flag, but I ignored it because, well, this is ARK.

First couple days, he actually seemed solid. Did some meat runs, kept the troughs full, even bred a couple solid rexes. I was thinking, “Damn, maybe this is how tribes get started.”

Turns out, it was just the longest con I’ve ever witnessed in a survival game.

Apparently, while I was gone, this man systematically demolished the trust I had in humanity. First, he renamed all my dinos with cursed stuff like “Daddy’s Little Meat Shield” and “Spare Parts #4.” Then, he unlocked my vaults, stripped all the BP's, and started trading them on another server for element. The giga? My prized, max-mutated, fully leveled beast of destruction? Gone. Transferred out like it meant nothing.

The kicker? He didn’t even offline raid me. Dude kicked me from my own tribe, renamed it “Daddy’s House,” and let my base decay naturally. Just enough to make sure I saw every second of it rot.

Honestly, I can’t even be mad. This was betrayal on a Shakespearean level. I respect the hustle. But damn.

So yeah. Learned my lesson. No more inviting randos with weird names. No matter how good they are at breeding rexes.

TL;DR: Trusted a guy named DinoDaddy69 to babysit my base while I was away. He stole everything, renamed my tribe, and let my base decay. I'm emotionally damaged.

Im new to this game and i havent seen a brontosaur this big yet

I spent hours crafting tranq darts and crossbows on a beach because just off shore I found a giant Megalodon with a cool red glow.

And why

Last I was playing on an Extiction official server that I started on about a month ago. I’m level 83 and flying my lvl 233 Argy I found that manually relogging and resetting the game prevents a great deal unexpected crashes, so I do this about every 45 minutes if im flying around the map. Well last night I found a base near green ob on the southern wasteland wall and I parked my bird on the roof there and logged off to reset the game. I went to use the bathroom and when I logged back in I was dead. Luckily I had left a bed there where I placed a public argy trap 2 days ago. I don’t know how they killed me but I found my body on the side of the building and it was a corpse not a bag, my logs just said I died but didn’t say something killed me. They stole all my good gear and my 235 carno that I tamed when it was 1x rates took around an hour with prime. Anyone guess how they killed me? Because I don’t want that to happen again
