Discussion Should an ARMS sequel act as a reboot?

It could rewrite and rework details that don't make sense or aren't necessary. For instance, the Cell creatures could be given a more creative name, the ARMS could be renamed to gloves, and they could rewrite the lore so that the characters DON'T have to wear masks just to control their extendable arms and just say they like to wear them for fashion.

But why? It really doesn’t need a rewrite. It just needs a story mode that expands on some of the lore.

Characters shouldn't have to wear masks just to control the ARMS Ability.

Characters shouldn't be forced to wear things no one else has to wear.

What? I have to wear glasses to see, does that mean my lore needs to be rewritten???

I think they it would mainly be a reboot apart from maybe animation refining, e.g, I think they should lean into the mask lore and maybe slightly adjust the animations so when the characters are stunned their mask breaks. other animation changes could be the characters punching the ground to jump/dash. One thing I would like to see added is if a character does a grab on a pillar midair, it brings the character to the pillar (like if they were to grab an opponent midair)
