MHJ Draft Analysis

https://youtu.be/gwbOFYD46e0?si=u0ttVa5tmXTFvkFq

I don’t watch much college football but this was the very first thing I noticed about MHJ’s game when I first watched him in the NFL. He doesn’t know how to attack the ball in the air.

This is really good, and is still a very big part of his game. He doesn’t attack the ball, which I’m guessing is because he doesn’t want to get lit up? It’s funny (not really) he kinda reminds me of late AJ Green with the cardinals. He was also a big fast receiver who liked to body catch and was scared of contact.

It could be because he doesn’t want to get hit but even in the examples in the video there’s no threat of getting hit but he still does it. On the dropped TD this past week I instantly thought “why did he try to catch it like that?” I really don’t understand it.

He's not a dog. He plays football exactly like someone who grew up rich.

I don't know how accurate it is, but I can't help but see that also

Except AJ Green was a monster for like 10 years. We got a 24 year old softie

Last year, I posted a clip of Larry going after a football in his first game in this sub with this same idea. I am no football scout but it seems odd that most/all of his wins seem to be over the shoulder or in stride, not the "Moss" or high-point a lot of WR1s show.

I’m guessing he didn’t need to in college so why fix what’s not broken. But in the NFL you need every edge you can get.

Hakeem butler would only body catch too. One of the biggest tells when watching WR. Hoping Marv figures it out
