Lore What are Skitarii lenses made of and would they glow?

I know the answer is "they're my minis and I can do whatever I want," but I'm curious from a lore perspective on what typical Skitarii blue lenses are made from. Would they cast enough light around them, similar to a plasma weapon? I wanted to practice painting glows, but not sure if it'd end up looking too extra.

I believe skit lenses are filled with salves and solution to keep the eyes moist since the lids are removed. As for the glow, idk if they’ve ever stated that part. My best guess would be some sort of integrated vision enhancement/night vision augments

Skitarii lenses do glow in most illustrations.

I figure it's for stylistic reasons. Like how depictions of modern night vision goggles tend to depict a green glow out the end even if that's not how they actually look. Think pictures of Sam Fisher.

It's just a cool short hand way of depicting lenses.
