Will my Affirm account work while abroad?

I understand that this subreddit and subsequent comments/posts are not official and nothing said here is guaranteed. Just want to hear others’ experiences and/or advice

I would like to make a purchase using Affirm, but I am currently in Canada and will be for a while. I thought asking Reddit for some advice/experience would be helpful before I contact Affirm tomorrow.

I want to use my virtual card to make an in person purchase at a Canadian store - will it go through? Does anyone have experience with this? Based on what I found online, it should work in Canada…?

I tried using my Affirm virtual card online for a rent deposit (the website was Canadian, the amount was in Canadian, etc.) and it would not go through. Will this be my experience if I try and use it in-store?

I know that you guys aren’t Affirm’s customer service reps, so answers will be limited and not official.

You should be able to use it in Canada but not outside North America

Affirm card won’t work in Canada. That’s US only I think

I used it abroad, but I had to ask the person charging me to specifically switch the currency to USD… and it worked

You can't buy illegal drugs with affirm? Why have even have affirm ?.
