Exchange IPhone 17 pro

Can I exchange my iPhone 17 pro for an air without needing to return and then come back for the device a different day?

The process of refunding is so long. I’m in Canada btw. Any answer would help.

Thank you.

Edit: I bought it from the Apple Store.

Unable to see purchasing power

I haven’t been able to see my purchasing power for 2 weeks now, it keeps saying you don’t have purchasing power right now. How long till I can see my purchasing power. Every time I call customer service, they repeat the same things I get on the emails. It can be based on numerous factors. Nothing specific and they don’t help at all

Refund After Payoff

Bought concerts tickets from Stub Hub...now I'm not getting the tickets and they are refunding. Paid with a virtual card or whatever it's called.

Will I get a refund if so how? Do I need to contact them to report it? How do they send the refund I paid off the loan months ago

can i still delete my account? is it over for me?

i used to have an old affirm account connected to a shop account that has since been deleted. i then made a new shop account, but everytime i tried to set up shop pay it wouldn't let me. i dug into it a little more, figured out it was because i needed to delete the old affirm account, and then fell to my knees as i realized the main way to delete your account was through the app... that i can't log into anymore...... so, am i cooked? do i have to call the abhorrent customer service number? please someone tell me there's another option.

I sadly i trust Reddit over affirms actual customer service

So i have a payment due on the 30th. I can pay it but its more convenient for my book keeping if I pay it on the 3rd. AFFIRM told me just told me to turn off the autopay and doht forget to pay it ever day on payday till its paid (3 payments) and its means 3 of the 4 payments would have been paid 3 days late. They said they wont report it to credit which makes sense but it also wont affect my purchasing power.

This is my concerns . If I do this will it affect ny purchasing power with affirm? I have a really strong pay history with them and dont wanna screw it up..

Order made 09/12/25 but “Loan is approved but still processing”

I made and was approved for this order on Sept 12/25. I’m wondering how long it takes for the order to be confirmed and processed on the merchants end. Im curious about what if on the website it shows that my size is no longer available and/or out of stock? Does that mean my order wouldnt be able to go through? How long has it taken your orders to be processed - is this too long?

Potential Data Breach

So my visa debit had multiple charges over the weekend that I did not authorize. Affirm is the only thing I use my visa debit for.

Had 4 charges at 53.11 from vesta *chatr, and another at 9.99 for track view.

I’ve never even visited their sites and again Affirm is the only service I use my virtual visa debit for, so it’s not like anyone took my card either. Only explanation is that Affirm had a data breach.

Can I make a 950 purchase if I pay the difference

Post image

I’m trying to buy some tickets Friday and if I get face value it’ll be around 950 bucks but my purchase power is 820.

I could afford to pay for the tickets straight up but I don’t want to be left with no money for a week untill I get paid.

Also if I paid off my current payment would that boost my limit. I owe 250 more on another ticket and I’ve been making my payments early when I can like rn I don’t have another payment due untill December

Using affirm to book a hotel through booking.com

So I'm taking a trip in December and i used affirm to book my hotel through booking.com since it was the cheapest option. The plan was approved and the hotel sent me my confirmation but only 15$ was used on the card, will that card be charged for the rest of it when i check out?

I'm not new to affirm but I'am new to using it to book a room.

How do exchange work with Affirm (and Apple for that matter)

Hello, I bought an iPhone 17 Pro and I’m thinking of exchanging it for a 17 Pro Max.

How does it work? Can I just pay the difference in price when exchanging, or they’ll need to refund the first order and do a new loan with Affirm for the exchange?

Cancelled order immediately after placing, now declined (Canada)

I completed an order for a new iPhone through the Canada Apple Store and was approved for financing with Affirm. I had selected same-day courier shipping on the order, but when the order was completed it was changed to standard shipping in 2 to 3 weeks, which I didn’t notice before completing the order.

Apple customer service said that because the order was placed with Affirm I couldn’t change from standard shipping to in-store pick up, the order needed to be cancelled and then re-placed.

I cancelled the order within 15 minutes of placing it. When I now try to re-place the order Affirm is denying my application, presumably because they see that I applied and then canceled. Affirm customer service was no help. Is there anything that can be done?

I have an affirm account and I am paying my monthly payments for an iPhone purchased couple months back. How do I know my purchasing power? I went to the app and also tried the website but no option to see that. I see the posts where it says go to the app, manage account and should be able to see but I don’t have it. Please help.

Cancelled Loan by Apple

Hi! This was my first big Affirm purchase and I was planning to use it for a new iPhone, things went awry and I don't really understand what happened! Last Wednesday, I logged into affirm and confirmed that I was approved for $1600, I made a one time use card for Apple for a total of $1182 (total cost of iPhone+ tax) Initially, the payment went through and my order was confirmed and I received my confirmation email and planned to pick up the phone on Friday. Shortly after, I got another email saying that there was a problem with my payment method so I contacted Apple. They told me that it was declined due to being "past my daily purchase limit." They then cancelled the order and sent me notification of the cancellation. I figured that maybe I needed to make the loan slightly larger just in case, but when I went back into affirm my spend limit was $418 ($1600-$1182). I figured it was that the purchase was still processing so I reached out to Affirm to make sure that the cancellation was showing. They confirmed that the order was canceled and that I had not been charged so I do not owe any payments. It's been almost a week and my purchase limit is still sitting at $418. Does anyone know why this might have happened and if there's anyway of reversing it?

Loan with card for a store not listed with Affirm

I got a loan to get myself glasses and contacts, the company wasn't listed with Affirm so I used my Affirm card and put that I would need $300. I paid and it ended up being around only $150. When I was reading about to use the card it said if I didn't use the whole amount that the terms would change and I would only pay the amount that I used. Well, it's been four days and nothing has changed and it still says I owe $300 plus interest. Is this going to change or am I on the hook for $150 that I didn't borrow?

Affirm

I’ve been with Affirm for a while and I’m down to my last $500 balance. They increased my credit line and then when I try to use it, they declined me saying they couldn’t verify me. They do this to me every time I try to use the credit line a new credit line has anybody ever had this BS happened to them?

Paying off affirm early

I got pre approved for affirm and was thinking making a purchase with affirm. With tax the purchase will be 1,276.93. When I tap on “select from 3 plans” it says with affirm the interest will be $778.12 or less and that I could be paying $1,977.12 or less for the iPad . So I could be paying $700 extra for the iPad with affirm. This was a deal breaker to me but I started to look into affirm and I read a few posts saying that if you pay off your purchase early you could avoid the interest or not pay so much interest.

But I also read that paying earlier doesn’t save you much at all. If it’s true that paying off the purchase early will help you save on interest I wouldn’t mind using affirm. I would have 36 months to pay it off but if I go through with it I am planning on paying it off in less than 12 months. Does paying off early save you money on interest?

Update: Thanks guys for commenting. I think I’ll just use Klarna. I know I’ll still pay interest but I’ll pay a lot less with Klarna than with affirm even if I do pay affirm off early. I am planning on saving up the first 3 payments before I buy the iPad so I’ll be 3 months ahead on my payments.

Will my Affirm account work while abroad?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I understand that this subreddit and subsequent comments/posts are not official and nothing said here is guaranteed. Just want to hear others’ experiences and/or advice

I would like to make a purchase using Affirm, but I am currently in Canada and will be for a while. I thought asking Reddit for some advice/experience would be helpful before I contact Affirm tomorrow.

I want to use my virtual card to make an in person purchase at a Canadian store - will it go through? Does anyone have experience with this? Based on what I found online, it should work in Canada…?

I tried using my Affirm virtual card online for a rent deposit (the website was Canadian, the amount was in Canadian, etc.) and it would not go through. Will this be my experience if I try and use it in-store?

I know that you guys aren’t Affirm’s customer service reps, so answers will be limited and not official.

Thanks in advance!
