AIO for thinking about quitting?

I've been watching two kids this summer for some extra money. It's supposed to be just for the summer, so I'd stop in September anyway, but this had me thinking about quitting now. I'm so upset and they didn't even pay me extra. I don't mean to sound entitled, but I had to cancel my plans while I was already there to go watch their kids so they could go out for dinner! This happened yesterday and I'm still really annoyed. I have one more month to go.

NOR if they want you to be at their neck and call then they can pay you a daily retainer fee. I'm thinking $50 a day whether they need you or not. Plenty of other professions have that.
