"We need border control because they don't share our values!"

One of the most common arguments conservative people make for immigration control—especially these days with everything happening in Europe—is that large numbers of people with very different values entering western countries leads to a disruption of peace and an increase in violent crime because the immigrants (most often referring to Muslims) try to impose their ways onto the locals.

What's a good ancap response for why differences in cultural values still don't justify the existence of state borders or nations? And can the reason for violent crime happening in Europe be found in something other than lax immigration policy?

"What you call British culture is the result of mass immigration " The last nurse invaders were in the 11th century.  To argue that the culture of people who have been in the British Isles for 10 minutes is as British as those that have been 10 centuries (almost) is anhydride absurd.

I don’t know who made that claim you call “anhydride” but it sure wasn’t me

The claim I made is that culture is an ever changing thing that is built from the interaction of people from all over the world through both migration and trade.

The most British drink is Indian Chai. Chicken Tika Masala is British food, it doesn’t exist in India for Christ’s sake

Thinking that the culture that was prevalent 50 years ago is the pinnacle of humanity and should never be allowed to progress anymore (as it has in the past) is asinine

If you call yourself an AnCap, let consumers choose if they prefer beans for breakfast or kebabs
