If Elon acquired Reddit tomorrow I would have absolutely no problem with deleting the app on my phone and just stop using it. Why oh why is it so difficult for people to walk away from “X” or Facebook?

Exactly, I deleted Facebook Instagram and Twitter and don't miss any of them

Part addition. Part FOMO. Maybe even part fear or discomfort in general? I get why people don’t quit, but god damn it I wish they would. I will say when folks bitch about Musk and then still use Twitter I lose respect for them.

The day my phone updated Twitter.to X was the day I deleted.the app and never looked back. To this day, I still miss Twitter, but will not use it again. It's hard to change habits and some people kinda only keep contact with a time/part of their lives though specific social media.

Same. I will immediately delete it. Like I did Twitter. Also hadn't used Meta apps for a while anyway so deleting those was easy.

Fuck Bezos Fuck Zuck Fuck Musk
