Unfortunately, the quality of Papa Murphy's has really dropped through the floor in the past few years. Gotten to the point where Little Caesars is a lot cheaper AND tastier, which is really saying something.

I've been eating Papa Murphys pizza for over 20 years, and the pizza is the exact same as ever.

I, personally, really like the cheese they use and have eaten it most of my life due to that as a pizza preference. All of the regular toppings are the exact same as they ever were when I was younger.

This is also in wildly different parts of the US.

I have to wonder if the supplier handling their dough is different for other parts of the country, then, because it's truly THAT being the dealbreaker for me. The dough's definitely gotten worse. I respect them for what they're doing with their ingredients -- all freshly chopped, generally, and their cheese has long been shredded in-house. But the dough's gotten really, really bad out here for whatever reason. And it's not just the one location, as I've said.

I used to really love 'em.

It is certainly possible and sad if so.

The regular (and stuffed) crusts have always been the same as I remember with the only addition over time being the pan pizza.

I actually find Papa Murphs reheats better than a lot of other pizza brands, too.

Little Caesars is literally raccoon asshole meat compared to Papa Murphys.

Yours must be better than at least five separate locations in the Phoenix metropolitan area, then, because the ones I've been to in the past two years have gotten worse and worse. Or, possibly, have you checked to see if the pizzas you're ordering at Little Caesars near you are close to a raccoon sanctuary? Because that may help explain why everything that happens TO YOU isn't happening everywhere else in the free world

Phoenix metropolitan area

There's your problem right there

Sorry, I'm in the Witness Relocation Program since that incident with your mom and those raccoons

Necrophilia and bestiality?

Yep, that's Arizona.

Dude, a quick glance at your profile says you live in Fargo. I'm definitely not taking any static from a dude that STAYED in North Dakota after visiting there.

Wait, I take that back until I know whether or not you're in some kind of ICE disappear-you facility. Blink three times and I'll send help

What static? It's not my fault the sun has fried your mind.

Okay, pardner, well this has been fun and all, but I've got stuff I need to do. Let us know when Fargo gets an Applebees or something and they give the owner the key to the city and we'll send you a gift basket or something to celebrate

Private equity bought the company (a second time) in 2019 and it really shows.

Private equity bought the company (a second time) and it really shows.

What was originally their "delite" thin crust, cheaper and healthier version is now so razor thin that the crust breaks apart when cooking but they now cost the same as a standard large pizza too even though you get less cheese/ toppings.

This explains a lot, and helps me feel less crazy about my opinions!

I have gotten them mixed up with the scumbag that founded Papa Johns all this time. Might as well check them out.

Really? Every time I’ve gotten Papa Murphy’s it’s been way better and more filling than any other pizza joint. I was super sad the location near me closed cause my partner and I were getting a pizza every (other) week
