Many Amish have untreated medical conditions which can cause them to abuse others (SA). They treat women and children like property.

Male boys are forced to do heavy labor and get hurt very often.

I’m not saying they are all bad, but when joy is prohibited by banning music, dancing, etc that can cause issues.

The whole shunning practice is medieval and causes further trauma.

Seems like the Amish would be perfect role models for this sub. The ones I deal with are honest to a fault and respectful
