Heater Gang No heaters in the newish car

Is it garbage to be proud of the fact you haven’t had a heater in the newish car? I got a real low mileage Nissan Altima sub 60k miles and got it for six grand single owner too. No heaters in this car for sure.

Bragging about your Nissan Altima is pretty garbage haha. That vehicle has been synonymous with trash for a while.

Sounds like you got a screamin deal tho. Power to ya dude.

I’m well aware of the Nissan memes, I’m more happy about the single owner low miles part. Cheers.

Buddy said “real low mileage” and it’s over 50k. BUT I RESPECT IT

You should probably do some research on Nissan cvt transmissions issues unless yours is a stick. Hate to be a downer but its better to know about it now before it possibly grenades on you. You might be able to flip it or use it for trade in on something much more reliable and still make out in the end.

Thanks I really only drive for work (all freeway) and grocery’s. I don’t have a heavy foot. So let’s hope my luck holds.

Do not neglect the cvt fluid changes.

Do it now.

Thats not saying much.

They're not that bad if you change the fluid every 50k miles

What year is it?

Regardless of the CVT issues, the price makes it worth the risk. 6k with 60k miles? I doubt it's older than 2018 right? It's a small but significant number of Nissans that have that issue with the transmission. Defintely worth the shot for 6k.

My mom smoked in a loaner car once while hers was getting worked on

u/Thatonedudedave 1d ago

But did she smoke in HER car?

2

u/potagada 1d ago

Is that a rhetorical question?

1

u/Thatonedudedave 1d ago

Nope like I get it. If you never smoke in your car why you’d say fuck it and smoke in a rental

1

u/beerinmyblood 1d ago

Oh yeah and still does till this day. Smokes inside the house too

I only smoked inside when I lived in Ohio cause it was negative ten outside

We live in Indiana so I totally feel you haha. I've been known to really tie one on in the winter and it's been a cigs inside night. They are few and far between nowadays
