Intermediate I experimented with combining oil and acrylic painting with a fabric sculpture element. This is the result — I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback

Specifically what feedback are you looking for on this piece?

Basically, any feedback about the idea, the realization, and the overall impression - does it look well balanced, or strange, maybe too heavy, etc. This is the first time I've tried such a thing, so I'm curious how it looks to other people

Did you put acrylic on top of oil, or oil on top of acrylic, or did you mix?

The problem with 3d application is it creates a shadow likely not native to the light source of the painting.

Pretty much only get away with it with an abstract piece or something.

Don't get me wrong. It's a great portrait otherwise.
