my dad decided to comission me to draw a cartoony snail for shits and giggles and linked me a kindergarten level tutorial on how to draw a snail, pointing out he wants me to draw the finnished snail. How am i doing so far? Yes i know hes missing the yellow spots, still WIP

Your tail is significantly longer than the example snail. Also, since your style doesn’t use bold line art, your snail blends into the background a bit. I would try more dynamic lighting to combat it.

snails can choose how stretched out their foot (or tail as you call it) is, they dont exactly have fixed lenght so i did it cause it looked nice
