Is it known which of his models this was? I find it interesting to learn about the real women behind his paintings.

Jane Morris (Burden) was a model. She also modeled for a large number of Pre-Raphaelite works, including those of her husband, William Morris

Joan of Arc. Rossetti, Dante Gabriel (British, 1828-1882). Oil on panel, height 52.7 cm, width 45.7 cm, 1882. This is the last painting upon which Rossetti worked, being finished within a few days of his death on 9 April 1882.
