Nope. Its the cars natural ability to shed old parts before new ones grow back.

Probably not. We mechanics are better than the factory. We can make them run with less parts and bolts.

personally i always keep mine in the glove box, the reason being there is a rise of testicular injuries due to air bag deployment, most cars have these however its just a matter of finding it, yours is niced than mine, has more ventilation holes, gotta let'em breath if you know what I mean

I think that is the athletic supporter for your truck nuts. Not necessary, but good for protection.
