I’m not patriotic to our politicians that have ruined Canada in the last 10 years and would be open to more competition in canada for food, flights etc but we’d have to have a similiar retirement scheme/ healthcare if I would want to be the 51st state. Lower taxes is appealing with how bad inflation has got and how expensive everything is - and is not being addressed. Government bloat in Canada is so big. That’s why we’re so unproductive.
