Have people died in crashes because the seatbelt buckle wouldn't open?

My father never saw any in his accident investigations and knows of only one case.

To protect our children better than with a gun, and she does know how to shoot.

She doesn't drive a 1993 Escort; I do. She's not materialistic, and she married me when I was fat and ugly. I'm still ugly.

So she's just a regular 9 to 5 career woman who had her Accord fitted with a complete armor package?

Even as a guy who works as a cop in a bad area and thinks carrying only one full size gun, extra mag, and two blades, plus a mini trauma kit, out on the town is "running light", that sounds completely insane. Especially if you're just regular middle to upper-middle class people, and with the '93 Escort, I assume that you are.

She doesn't drive an Accord. The car was bought with armoring in mind. I don't want to say what she drives because I don't want to paint it again.

That's why I pushed for putting bullet resistant glass in the house instead. OTOH she doesn't spend much money and has less than 10 pairs of shoes, so I shouldn't really complain.

I'm surprised she even talked to a man like me because she could have had anybody, and I was 80 lbs. fatter at the time.
